HooDoo Brown BBQ, Ridgefield
I'm gonna make this super easy. GO HERE. Get in your car, kick back, take a ride to Ridgefield (yeah it's out of the way but it's worth it trust me), and go to HooDoo. This place is, in my opinion, the best BBQ joint in the area. Tons of authentic Tex-Mex inspo at this joint, with the whole place actually being in set in motion by a boys trip to Austin, Texas.
Anyways, whatever you get here is insanely good. The Texas Poutine (above) is as rich and scrumptious as it gets. Bring three hungry people and get the Holy Texas Trinity (1 pound of brisket, one of each sausage link, a rack of pork ribs and cornbread) and that will change your whole outlook on life.
One pic I didn't get was these ridiculous BBQ Nachos (Chopped brisket or pork, pit beans, jalapenos and their signature cheese sauce over chips with fresh guacamole and sour cream) and they might have even been the highlight of the trip.
I've since taken the trip to Ridgefield 3x JUST to go to HooDoo. Not sure what else I would be doing in Ridgefield to be honest. But I keep finding myself there.
